Got my wisdom teeth removed 2/3/2026, pulled my claim from my dental insurance July 28/ 2026. Called to ask about refund because i was over charged!! They said the check was sent July 4th. I have not received any check. Office manager said she would email the billing department to initiate investigation and a reissuing of a new check. As of today still haven’t received a check!!! Update after a month n 3 weeks, i finally received refund via the card i originally used. The experience wasnt great BUT the outcome was what i wanted.

I had a really bad experience with a tooth pulled by my dentist a few months ago. I was supposed to have a bridge replaced, unfortunately for me, when the bridge was taken off one of the supporting teeth was split and had to be pulled. I have NEVER experienced so much pain, it hurt for days. I am in hour 5 today and I can't tell you how good I feel. Of course, I know I've had a took pulled and I know to take it easy. I made homemade biscuits when I got home to add to having something soft to eat. I was able to pinch and eat it. I am so thankful for Dr. Sruthi, she was absolutely amazing, It took her less than 15 mins, (no exaggeration) to pull tooth #3. The entire office, from the girl at the front desk who came outside to meet me because it was a little confusing getting to the building. I can't remember everybody by name. Dr. Sruthi's assistant Angel was amazing, I do remember her name. If I could give 20 stars, I absolutely would!! Thank you Atlanta Oral and Facial Surgery in Decatur for building my confidence, caring and taking care of me!!

I just wanted to say to anyone who is scared of getting their wisdom teeth removed, please don’t be! I was EXTREMELY nervous before my procedure and honestly terrified going into it, but Dr. Chal made the entire experience so comfortable from beginning to end. He was kind, patient, reassuring, and truly amazing throughout the whole process. The receptionist and all of the nurses were also incredibly sweet and welcoming. Everyone made me feel cared for and less anxious the moment I walked in. I especially want to thank Dr. Chal and the sweet nurse who was with him that day for taking such good care of me and helping me feel calm and safe. I am currently 7 days post op and my recovery has been going so much better than I expected. I literally had 0 pain and barely any swelling, only a tiny bit the next day. Honestly the most annoying part has just been not being able to eat solid foods lol. Because of how positive my experience was, I’ll definitely be coming back to have my top wisdom teeth removed as well. If you’re looking for a place to go, I truly recommend choosing this office. They made such a scary experience feel easy and comforting. Thank you all so much again!

I brought my mother to AOS in Decatur for a tooth extraction today. While we were glad to get the procedure done, I am incredibly disappointed with their billing policies. We paid $1,270 out-of-pocket for the extractions and bio plugs. On top of that, they charged an additional $140 consultation fee. I asked if the consultation fee could be waived or applied toward the cost of the surgery, since we moved forward with the expensive treatment immediately. This is a standard courtesy at most dental and specialty practices, but they completely refused to credit it. We arrived with complete X-rays, medical clearance, and a direct referral for the exact teeth to be pulled, making their mandatory $140 'consultation' fee feel like an absolute cash grab.

Dr. Chaliff and his team are amazing and do wonderful work!! I had a very bad infection and he took the time to actually dig every single bit out! Although I was extremely nervous due to a bad previous experience( which is why the tooth has become so infected over time-trying to avoid!), the team’s personalities kept me laughing even during my procedure, they even turned on my favorite music station to make sure ai was comfortable and could relax. I am very thankful for my experience here, grateful for my recommendation and happy to finally have that tooth removed with grace! Thank you all!πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ’œπŸ€©
